The Trio

The trio is a gold plated talisman that represents the power of three. The most basic archetype of three is the MIND/BODY/SOUL connection. But depending on your perspective you may be drawn to any of the following examples of three:

PAST/PRESENT/FUTURE 

INNOCENCE/MATURITY/WISDOM

NEWBORN/ADOLESCENT/ADULTHOOD

MOTHER/FATHER/CHILD

FATHER/SON/HOLY SPIRIT

SUN/MOON/STARS

The list goes on and on when it comes to the power of three. When designing this piece I was inspired by the different learning stages of a person. The incomplete face on the left is the young mind with so much to learn. The middle face represents the present mind, wherever you are on your journey, you undoubtedly know more than you did yesterday but not as much as you will know tomorrow. The old wise face on the right represents the mature soul who has seen and experienced so much but knows they are still a student.
